Hi, I'm Dani Antonio Ona, a 22 year-old Software Developer from the City of Davao, Philippines. I found passion in programming, and continuously enhance it through learning new tech every now and then. A gamer, Linux enthusiast, Android lover and a full-time geek.

Aside from having side projects for private clients, I have a daytime job too. Time sure is rough, I need money.
I am tasked to develop sophisticated and well-designed applications using Microsoft Technologies, such as - .NET Framework with C#, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and ASP.NET MVC; the System Center Software Manager (SCSM) platform for enterprise-level applications; Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise as the development environment, and; Visual Studio Team Services for team collaboration. Additionally, I, together with a team, provide support, fixes and maintenance for existing applications. Moreover, we also develop apps from ground-up by designing, coding and the usual self-testing. Finally, I continue to update my job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and technologies, together with my fun and way more geeky colleagues.
Did the full life-cycle development of android applications, from designing, coding and testing. Participated with projects for restaurant management apps, such as - Point-of-Sale, Queuing, and Kitchen Management. I developed with Java, Google's Android Studio, the latest Android Software Development Kit (SDK) and following Google's Material Design Guidelines.
As part of our 360-hour Internship, I was assigned to write technical manuals at first. Then was tasked to develop simple launcher application for the whole orgranization. The app was developed with C# and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), using Visual Studio IDE and MahApps Metro for a bit of eyecandy.
I always find ways to enhance my skills, like following tutorials, reading articles, and discovering great and interesting new techs.

Education is important, of course it is.
Been in the Dean's List for 6 semesters. Was an active student council member. I participated to school-wide competitions, joined various clubs like Rotaract, a Rotary Club for Young Adults, took part in outreach programs of the school. Organized school events and tabulation for sports events, and more. Oh boy, college life was awesome.
